EXPERIMENT 2
FINAL COMMENTS
My school design is a direct reflection of my theory on movement. The various rooms surround the main lecture theater in a gravitational, universe-like formation. The bridge between the paths reflect a spiral pattern, which surround the core theater. The entities, or the classes, are all connected to the core, which makes the school very intimate and communal. Although movement involves changing of states from one position to another, my movement theory emphasizes a shared focal point among the moving items. There is no start or end because everything is connected or has a shared space.

EXPERIMENT 1
Step 2&3
a: your best piece of creative work before coming to this course, think laterally if you have not done "conventional" art or design work
I designed this piece to reflect the mantra "Smile with independence". The image reflects the breaking of the chains that used to inhibit a beautiful smile. Everyone has a unique, wonderful smile that should be used at the individual's free will, without hesitation and without fear.
b: an image of a great piece of architecture
This low rise beach condo is located in Abel Tasman, New Zealand. Interestingly, I visited the city a few weeks ago and made a note to remember this estate. The use of curves and circles gives the building a relaxed, flexible, and warm feeling that complements nicely with the surrounding beach and trees. The curvature gives the impression hat the estate fits in complementary with the trees. Additionally, the use of beige concrete matches the color of the sand across the street, which reflects the value of environmental factors on the design of the building.
c: an original photograph of something beautiful
This picture was captured near my house in Sydney. The image reflects Plumeria flowers, which are common to Sydney. Many residential houses host these flowers in their front/back yards, and it is common to see them on the streets after they bloom. The bright colors are common to Sydney's tropical feel.

I followed through with the Elephant / Transparent sketch .
Elephant is a word to describe how I feel about the type of furniture Trent Jansen Studio makes. Their studio is highlighted by a tall, elephant-like structure. The studio is used to create furniture, and it surrounded by vegetation and natural resources. The studio relies on the resources to create the furniture. Natural colors of brown and green are applied, which also appear in the furniture. Wood is the main type of material used for the project. Material Section is Wood.
Transparent is the word used to describe Kyza's cars. I used this as inspiration to design an all-glass car factory, with ample space for Kyza to design, prototype, and build his cars. There are four hexagonal buildings connected by tubes. Each building serves a different purpose; one is to build engines, the other for tires, etc... The studio is connected to the roads for test driving. Material section is glass.
Experiment 1: Week 02
8 Stairs ( Sections + Models)
Stair 1 for Client: Kyza, Word: Transparent
Stair 2 for Client: Trent Jansen Studios, Word: Elephant
The material used in the design of the stairs is wood. The brown hues of the inner beam symbolize the heavily forested environments that elephants might live in. The gray color used in the steps serves to match the elephants skin color.
The stair design is purposeful for combining the top studio with the showroom. The stairs loop around the inner beam; and it is effective in moving up a higher distance, rather than a gradually tilted staircase.
